Functions of the swimming-pool roofing

Widening of the swimming-pool usage period, which starts in the late spring and ends on early autumn, without any costs of heating the water.

Decrease of water heating costs (preventing loss of temperature).

Cumulation of the heat, produced by the sun rays or heated water.

Prevention against dirtying the water in the swimming-pool

Reduction of the amount of chemicals used in the swimming-pool

Delimitation of the damages during the winter

Prevention to accidental falls in to the water (especially children) - possibility of tottaly lockable enclosure.

During the hot days the pleasure of open air swimming-pools

Construction

The basis

The basis of construction is aluminium (alloy ALMGSI 0,5/F22; width of the walls - 1,53,0mm) sections specially projected for this purpose, individual rails and braces in the sections are designed with a view to the highest static robustness.
All joins of the aluminium sections are hidden, which means without visible joins and rivets.
The rails are anodized or powder-painted (according to RAL palette).
Aluminium construction is filled with plates made of cell polycarbonate, which has a distinct effect on the strength of the light construction and better heating - isolation properties (which is not available when glass is used).
We use 10 mm wide polycarbonate, which strengthens the stiffness of the construction.
To seal the space between segments (which is 40mm wide) we used EPDM stripes and the space between the front wall and the ground is sealed with brushes. Thanks to brushes there is no need of removing the front wall, when it has to be moved over obstacles (MAX. 10cm). If the swimming-pool elements are higher there is possibility of attaching a swinging threshold to the front wall.
Length of each segment is between 2160mm and 2550mm.

Sliding system

Segments of the roofing are slid on polyamide rollers with stainless steel bearings
The sliding rails are made from tubular eloxal coated aluminium sections, so there are no sharp exposed edges, as is the case with exposed rails.
Rails maybe attached to even surfaces, horizontally or vertically or obliquely – on building walls or racks.
In roofings with a construction placed on polygon basis there is a possibility of motorized sliding of segments

Filling materials

Roofings are filled with 10mm wide polycarbonate plates (solid, one- or double- celled).
Polycarbonate on its external surface has high quality layer of UV absorber, which stops harmful UV radiation and prevents decolourization, crumbling and loss of resistance.
There are 8 colors of polycarbonate available: transparent, light blue, light green, normal blue, normal green, smoky-brown, opal white or tottaly translucent (as glass). We can always combine those different fillings (example light blue on top and tottaly translucent on front walls and smoky brown on doors)
We also offer special transparent polycarbonate with a NO DROP layer, which prevents dripping of the walls of the roofing; it simply floats to the ground. NO DROP polycarbonate is especially used in large roofings.

Properties of polycarbonate:

high relation of robustness
perfect isolation properties due to multi-wall structure (up to 60% better then plate of glass)
high level of sound damping – up to 25dB(A)
resistance to damages (for example. ball hits or blizzard)– 200 times better then the glass
high chemical resistance, especially to acids
resist to UV (superficial filter of UV)
low flammability
high transparency

Polycarbonate manufacturer gives 10 year warranty.

In year 2002 we started to use new fillings - a new 4 mm thick, solid polycarbonate. It has much better opticall properties comparingh to the cell-polycarbonate. It can be either used as a filling of whole construction or only in the selected parts of the roofing(for example front wall).

REALIZATION OF ORDERS

Preparing the base

Assembly is done on base, which should be prepared with help of our instructions:

Rails can only be attached to base, which is even, toughed and protected against possible move of materials under the pressure of the roofing. Good base are for example: pave bricks or ceramic tiles (in this case cracks may appear if the glue under it was not evenly widespread) placed on concrete.
If the difference between levels is big we use washer under the rails.
Base, which is not well toughed and protected, has to be prepared before the assembly.
1. Pave bricks or ceramic tiles placed on sand have to be finished with curb, to prevent rails from moving under pressure of roofing.
2. If the basis is ground or grass, an armed foundation is necessary and it has to be at least 30cm deep and placed on 5cm layer of gravel. The width of the foundation has to be at least as wide as the rails.

Our aim is to make roof, which is customer friendly. Although the roof is produced on high level of quality our research and development has not stopped. We always search for new solutions and materials, which will make our roof perfect and thus suitable for our customers.

   

Tutte le coperture delle piscine sono eseguite in profili e rotaia in alluminio inossidabile che garantisce l'invariabilità permanente dell'aspetto. I profili sono fatti in modo che le deformazioni delle rotaia e del tetto siano escluse. Le coperture si producono in accordo con i càlcoli stàtici più esatti e garantiscono la sicurezza completa. La nostra impresa dedica un'attenzione speciale agli elementi che collegano i profili e il manto di copertura. La loro produzione richiede un processo speciale che rende impossibili le deformazioni del tetto. Il manto di copertura e eseguito al sòlito sia in policarbonato isolativo e UV resistente di alta qualità (spessore: 10 mm) o in policarbonato massiccio e trasparente come il vetro. I segmenti riposano sulle rotaia e si spostano con grande facilità, si a mano sia al motore.

   

Die Basis der Konstruktion sind Aluminiumprofile, die speziell für diesen Zweck projektiert wurden, die einzelnen Querwände und Versteifungen in den Profilen sind mit Berücksichtigung einer maximalen statischen Widerstandsfähigkeit entworfen worden. Die Profile sind hinreichend robust, sodass es bei ihnen nicht zum Biegen, zu Deformationen und damit auch nicht zu komplizierten Verschiebungen der Segmente kommen kann.
Sämtliche Verbindungen der Aluminiumprofile sind verdeckt, d. h. ohne sichtbare Nietverbindungen. Die Fahrbahn besteht aus rohrförmigem, eloxiertem Aluminiumprofil (Höhe lediglich 10mm), es gibt also keinerlei scharfe offene Kanten, wie dem im Falle von offenen Schienenanlagen der Fall ist.
Für diesen Nutzungszweck ist die Oberflächengestaltung durch Eloxieren am vorteilhaftesten. Diese Gestaltungsmethode wird auf chemischem Wege direkt beim Hersteller der Aluminiumprofile vorgenommen, der Inhaber der Zertifikate der ISO-Normen ist, was eine Garantie der hohen Ausführungsqualität darstellt.
Die Spezialprofile für die Frontwände garantieren eine große Variabilität der Konstruktionsmöglichkeiten – unsere Bemühung besteht darin, eine derartige Lösung anzubieten, bei der die Notwendigkeit des Abnehmens der Frontwand bei der Verschiebung der Segmente entfällt.

Als Füllstoff benutzen wir ausschließlich Polykarbonat mit einer Dicke von 10 mm, was einen bedeutenden Einfluss auf die Festigkeit der Konstruktion und bessere Wärmeisolationseigenschaften hat.

   

Osnova vseh pokritij bazenov so profili in vodila iz eloksiranega aluminija, kar zagotavlja trajno nespremenjen videz (zašèiteni proti rjavenju). Narejeni so posebno za ta namen tako, da ne prihaja do sprememb in deformacij vodil ter cele strehe bazena. Strehe bazena so projektirane po najstrožjih staticnih preracunih, kar zagotavlja popolno varnost pri uporabi. Posebno pozornost namenjamo spajanju profilov in kritine, kar naredimo v podjetju s posebnim postopkom, ki ne deformira oblike strehe. Za kritino najveèkrat uporabimo izolativen polikarbonat debeline 10 mm, ki je UV obstojen in ima 10 - letno garancijo oziroma na posebno željo podoben material prosojen kot steklo, ter z enakimi kvalitetami. Segmente se zelo lahko premika po vodilih, na voljo pa je tudi motorni pogon (seveda z daljinsko komando, senzor za veter, svetlobo - noc...). V ta izdelek je vloženo veliko truda - tako pri razvoju, kot pri izdelavi. Vendar se razvoj še vedno ni ustavil. Vedno išèemo boljše in udobnejše rešitve, ki naredijo streho bazena uporabniku prijazno.

   

Osnova svih krovova su profili iz eloksiranog aluminija, što garantira trajno nepromenljiv izgled (zaštiteno prema rðanju). Napravljeni su posebno za tu svrhu tako, da ne dolazi do deformacija prilikom upotrebe. Svaki krov je projektiran po statièkih normama, što garantira potpunu sigurnost kod upotrebe. Posebnu pažnju dajemo na spajanje profila i pokrova, što napravimo u firmi sa posebnom procedurom koja ne deformira krov. Spojni elementi se u glavnom ne vide. Kao pokrov se najviše upotrebljava kvalitetan izolativan polikarbonat, debljine 10 mm, UV stabiliziran, koji nosi garanciju na nepromenljivost 10 godina (šljunak...). Na poseban zahtjev možemo Vam ugraditi potpuno transparentan material - kao staklo sa istim kvalitetama. Standardne boje: transparent, svetlo plava, svtlo zelena, normalna plava, normalna zelena, braun i žuta. Segmenti se vrlo lako klizaju po vodilicama. Kao ekstra variantu Vam možemo ugraditi i motorni pogon, koje je izpopunjen daljinskom kontrolom, senzorom na vetar, svetlo (noc)...
